The race
The course
One loop inside Elsinore harbour in front of Kronborg Castle. Harbour water means it is sheltered, but the turns come quickly, so learn the course beforehand rather than sighting off the crowd.
North up the Northern Sealand coastline, then a left turn before Hornbæk into the countryside for two anticlockwise laps, before returning to the coast road. Two laps of the same roads means the second one tells you honestly how the first was paced.
Three and a half laps circling Kronborg and running into the middle of Elsinore. The half lap matters: the course does not finish where the laps do, so count them properly and know which one is your last.
